adidas Ultra Boost

One of the most comfortable shoes on the entire sneaker market—the adidas Ultra Boost.

In 2016, no one could ignore the adidas Ultra Boost. Artists like Kanye West, Justin Bieber, and Shindy wore the adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 at their concerts and in their free time, pairing them with streetwear and fashion outfits.

By far the best-known and most hyped Ultra Boost series is the 1.0 series. Colorways like the adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 Wool Grey, Triple White (from the Key City Pack), Cream, OG, and even the Triple Black were sold out everywhere and were only available on the resale market at StockX, Klekt, Pluggi, and others.

Of course, there have also been a few collaborations with well-known brands such as Hypebeast, Sneakersnstuff, Naked, Highsnobiety, KITH, Wood Wood, and Undefeated. Unfortunately, the hype surrounding the silhouette has waned considerably, but we still consider the Ultra Boost an absolute top-tier sneaker with extremely high comfort. The first adidas Ultra Boost was designed by adidas in 2013. At the time, it was marketed as The best running shoe of all time The well-known Boost sole was developed in collaboration with the German company BASF. The polystyrene beads in the sole are designed to enhance the rebound effect for runners. This allows athletes to run with less effort.

This was followed by an improvement to the upper with Primeknit material. This new upper wraps around the foot and provides runners with a comfortable fit.

A quick tip: Thanks to the sneaker’s materials, the Ultra Boost can easily be washed in the washing machine at 30 degrees. While this process shouldn’t be repeated too often, 2–3 washes shouldn’t be a problem.

In recent years, the adidas Ultra Boost has lost more and more of its value and is no longer as popular as it used to be. Adidas restocked some models that were popular back then in large quantities, which once again significantly met and reduced demand. Adidas has now reached the Ultra Boost 5.0, but it’s no longer really worth mentioning among sneakerheads. Among runners and athletes, it’s still a popular shoe, precisely because of its comfort. In the sneaker world, it has lost a lot of its prestige, which we really regret since we’re big fans.
