adidas Yeezy 700
On July 22, 2019, the big day finally arrived.
Kanye West (Ye) and adidas launched the first adidas Yeezy Boost 700 on the German market. The “Wave Runner” had finally arrived here as well, after having been a “US exclusive” release for some time. The Wave Runner had been developed two years earlier—in 2017—exclusively for the launch of Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 5 and released on the American sneaker market.
To this day, Kanye West has kept the hype alive for his Yeezy 700 silhouette, continuously improving and revolutionizing this sneaker with further developments (700 V2, 700 V3, 700 MNVN) and new colorways. Although the “OG” models of each version—namely the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V1 “Wave Runner,” the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 "Static," and the adidas Yeezy 700 V3 "Azael," remain the most popular and expensive colorways to this day, there continues to be strong demand for new Yeezy 700 releases.

More information on the Yeezy 700
Virtually all Yeezy 700s feature a Boost sole, which adidas developed in 2013 in collaboration with the German publicly traded company BASF. Among other things, this sole gives the sneakers unparalleled comfort, which we’re already familiar with from models like the Yeezy 350, the adidas Ultra Boost, and the adidas NMD. You can find all past and upcoming adidas Yeezy releases in the HEAT MVMNT Sneaker Release Calendar. There, you’ll find not only an overview of all models, but also the respective stores and raffle lists.
