After the Air Jordan 1 sold extremely well and became a highly sought-after silhouette, the Air Jordan 2 hit the market. Unfortunately, it failed to match the success of the Air Jordan 1 and posted disappointing sales figures.

For this reason, Nike brought designer Tinker Hatfield on board and, together with him, designed and released the successor, the Air Jordan 3. With this model, Air Jordan made a comeback and once again gained great acclaim among sneakerheads and basketball fans.

The most iconic colorways on the Air Jordan 3 are Fire Red, Black Cement, and True Blue. Classic Jordan 3 models often receive retro releases. So far, there have been only a few collaborations on the Air Jordan 3, including, for example, A Ma Maniere, atmos, and Fragment. There’s also a rumor that Jordan plans to release another AJ3 in collaboration with Travis Scott. We’re excited to see what happens.

The Air Jordan 3 boasts one of the most timeless silhouettes on the market. The Air Jordan 3 is MJ’s third basketball shoe and remains one of the most sought-after sneakers to this day. Legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield was responsible for its design. The sneaker made its official debut in 1988. It was the first Air Jordan model to feature the Air logo, the Jumpman logo, and the Elephant Print. Originally, the Swoosh logo was located on the midfoot.

Michael Jordan wore the AJ3 during the 1987–1988 season, during which he won his first MVP award.
