Adidas YEEZY is a fashion collaboration between the German sportswear giant Adidas and the American designer, rapper, entrepreneur, and public figure Kanye West. The collaboration is known for its high-end, limited-edition colorways and general releases offered by the YEEZY Boost sneaker collection. The adidas YEEZY Boost originated with the adidas YEEZY Boost 750 OG silhouette, which was released in 2015.

How it all began:

Before his time with adidas, Kanye West was with Nike, where he released iconic models like the Air Yeezy Zen and the Air Yeezy 2 “Red October.” The love for Nike and Air Jordan and their releases was immense. “You can’t tell a black man not to wear any Jordans!” said the YEEZY founder. West’s journey into the fashion world began with Nike. After just under two years, Nike ended its partnership with Mr. West. The situation escalated further and further due to his inappropriate behavior. Kanye posted content such as internal release dates or pictures of unreleased sneakers on social media; he appeared more and more in the news and failed to stick to his own release dates. Ultimately, West turned his back on the Nike and Air Jordan teams. Since then, YE hasn’t worn a single pair of Jordans!
