Nike
The Birth of a Legend
Nike’s journey began in 1964, when two visionaries, Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight, founded the company with a simple yet powerful mission: to provide athletes with the best equipment. This ethos became the cornerstone of the brand’s identity.
Innovation Without Limits
A key factor that sets Nike apart is its relentless pursuit of innovation. The brand’s commitment to research and development has led to groundbreaking technologies such as Air Max cushioning and Flyknit material, which have changed the world of athletic shoes forever.
The Nike Experience: More Than Just Gear
Empowering athletes
Nike doesn’t just sell products; it empowers athletes to push beyond their limits. Through inspiring campaigns and partnerships with world-class athletes, Nike ignites a fire in everyone to strive for greatness.
Style meets performance
Beyond functionality, Nike emphasizes style. The iconic Swoosh logo and timeless designs have made Nike a fashion statement both on the field and in everyday life, one that transcends generations.

More information about Nike
White Air Force 1s are probably the absolute classics in the sneaker world. Nike has brought nostalgic silhouettes to the sneaker market that remain an integral part of every wardrobe to this day. One of the best-selling sneakers is the Nike Air Force 1 “Triple White.” There’s hardly a sneaker fan who doesn’t own at least one pair—or hasn’t owned one at some point. Another iconic model is the Nike Air Max 1. The first Air Max 1 hit the market in 1987, designed by Nike legend Tinker Hatfield.
The third iconic silhouette is the Nike Dunk in Low and High versions. This sneaker silhouette experienced a whole new wave of hype in 2022 and 2023, during which many classic colorways were reissued, and new versions were also released.
And of course, we can’t forget Nike’s sub-brand, Air Jordan, in partnership with Michael Jordan. Nike teamed up with Michael Jordan in 1984 and founded what remains the world’s most successful basketball brand to this day. With the Air Jordan line, they’ve set several milestones that have become an integral part of the sneaker world. Another Nike sub-brand is Converse, which was acquired in 2003 for just under $305 million. This, of course, also includes the best-selling sneaker of all time. The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star, of which 600,000,000 pairs have been sold to date have been sold.
Nike is now represented in virtually every sport.
Nike is, of course, also known for its philosophy—or rather, its popular slogan "Just do it". The logo, the Swoosh, was designed in 1971 by a graphic design student for $35. The Nike Swoosh is meant to resemble the wings of the Greek goddess Nike. Nike is headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon, in the United States. Across Borders: Nike’s Influence on Society
