Supreme was founded in 1994 by British entrepreneur James Jebbia in New York City. Originally, the brand was a U.S. skateboard and apparel brand.Supreme has collaborated with partners such as Nike, adidas, Bape, Reebok, Air Jordan, The North Face, Tiffany & Co., KAWS, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Champion, Honda, CDG (Comme des Garçons), Schott, Real Tree, and many others. Every collaboration has been a massive hit—resale prices regularly reach four figures.

Supreme New York is known for dyeing everything in its signature red. Add “Supreme” to it, and the collaboration is complete. This is how, for example, a BMX bike suddenly came to cost €3,000. Or a Supreme x Louis Vuitton Box Logo sweater for €12,000. The Supreme Box Logos—or “Bogos” for short—are among the most popular items in the Supreme collection. They’re released once a year during the fall/winter season. Of course, the Bogos sell out in seconds and are resold on platforms like StockX or eBay for many times their original price.

Of course, Supreme also wants to work on the most hyped sneaker silhouettes of the year: the Nike Dunk Low and the Nike Dunk High. In March 2021, the Supreme x Nike Dunk Low was released in four colorways: black, blue, green, and brown. All pairs settled at resale prices between €600 and €1,000.
